Charvet In addition to being the collar king, Charvet also rules in fabrics—it offers some 600 in size 15 ½ alone. Shirttails are square, the better to keep them inside your pants, and the left cuff has a marginally larger diameter than the right, to accommodate a watch. Charvet shirts are also ever-so-slightly waisted. The company is very generous with the silk passementerie knots it invented at the beginning of the century as a fastening for French cuffs.
